Have you ever found something hilarious and everyone else who heard or saw it didn't laugh? I have many times. I want to enjoy a joke because it simply is a joke. There is no hurt in a joke unless you tried insult someone on purpose and use a façade to make it look like a joke. It on a basis like this that we want people to just accept a joke because it is funny.
Political Correctness needs to be stopped when you cant call an Inuit an Eskimo any more! I mean what is wrong with the world. < This is the humour Niko and I create. Most of our jokes are off the bat and formed using the local uni pub, a few drinks of coke, my smoking out back and the rest of the class. Jokes only work when people make things funny without even knowing it and someone noticing it. Such as the fact that 'I didn't realise you knew the hippopotamus club were at weight watchers'. Catch my drift?
What I want to know is, will the fringe take on a duo who believe in making jokes because because they are funny and as far as they are concerned not offensive at any given length? I think they will but we wont enter the main fringe, simply because you have to pay to get a spot. We will do the FreeFringe and make a name for ourselves. Comedy is an age old trick we individually harness over the years. You laugh at adult jokes as a child because you know whatever the joke is, it is funny. Give it a couple of years and you suddenly understand it and think 'oh that is good!' then carry on as normal and find even funnier jokes. I think people need to remember to laugh a little, because let's be honest a laugh a day keeps the plastic surgeon away!
